MIL-PRF-121 protects contents from spillage especially during parachute drops of supplies to troops in areas where other modes of supply are not feasible. Military contractors should therefore seek to buy these materials exclusively from manufacturers contracted by the government. Depending on the size of the consignment, the desired unit can be obtained.
