Understanding where your traffic is coming from using raw server logs and behavior data isn’t enough for your online business. "Site metrics" is the term that is used to describe this information, with the latter term referencing a specific type of data. This information is somewhat limited. You need to know as much as you can about the visitors to your site or blog. When a visitor appears on your site, you need to know everything about them, tracking them every moment. You can only make intelligent profitable decisions if you are aware of this information and can capture it efficiently. It is this sort of information that is a real help with SEO and you shouldn’t ignore it.
If you can, go out and find reviews about products that you want to do review sites on. Amazon is the one place that most people will stop to get reviews for products. You can also check a variety of other places. The easiest thing to do is research the reviews at Amazon first.
Occasionally, there will not be enough reviews. You will have to look at other products made by the same company to get additional information. You do not want to plagiarize. All you want to do is use the material from a referential standpoint. As long as you can read them, write them out. You might even find some that you disagree with wholeheartedly. Your review can expand quite a bit by interjecting your disagreements into the dialogue.
Google’s keyword research tool has earned an awful reputation for being inaccurate. Google is well known for over estimating their search volume and presenting those inflated numbers to the public. There has been mention that they have addressed this in some form, but that is not completely true based on what I know and have seen. So, bear in mind that your traffic may be totally normal and you optimized or chose keywords using misleading information. You aren’t alone, there are a lot of marketers who have been stung by this.
Only after you know exactly who is coming to those high trafficked pages and from where you can look into monetizing. See what you’ve got on those pages and make sure that the monetizing you’re doing is relevant to them. It’s possible that your monetization is targeting older people when the vast majority of your traffic is younger. That’s the whole purpose of this exercise but if you want to find the best offers for your audience you need to find ones that are actually relevant for each page. Then see what your conversions are like and they should increase if you have done everything right. You might still need to do some testing by publishing similar offers, etc. You will find other ways to test out your site. But, even though it is very convenient to utilize, you will see that the A/B split test method will provide wonderful results. It is recommended you learn more, but there really is not much more to it. It is possible to utilize split testing for all kinds of advertising.
