Oopps! It seemed like ages of agonizing, brooding sections before I could finally get connected to the internet, I had been recklessly waiting in front of the blue screen for it to download a single page. It was a nightmare for me every night, to get in contact with my husband, who was in London. I have always longed to be with him. But fate had something else in store for us. A friend of my husband offered him a job in London. At first I was a little hesitant as we had to stay away from each other. But later we decided to bear the separation as we had to meet our financial needs along with the responsibility of taking care of our family. That’s when we both ended up in front of the pc to share our love, thoughts, cravings and what not.

I hope you can imagine the agony I underwent through each day when the internet took several minutes to download even a single page. I was getting over the edge as it was interrupting our communication. Even when we used to video chat, the poor quality of visuals and low audibility, was maddening. It was literally frustrating for me as the loveliest moments in my life were being snatched away, so instantly due to the poor quality of internet. Browsing the web, video chatting or making online calls posed a great problem with my lousy Internet. I was going crazy with everyone at home and work place.

So I decided to get rid of my good for nothing internet connection. The next time I went to get an internet connection I was very cautious. I researched several providers to get the best deal. It was by mere luck that I clicked on the online website of Time Warner Cable Deals. I was amazed to discover that they were providing bundled services. That means you get only one bill for Digital TV, Broadband Internet, and Digital Home Phone service. For the first year, it costs you far below $100 a month and they provide you with a free HD-DVR service for the first 12 months. It was very convincing for me and I’m glad I ordered it. They provided me with Internet, TV and phone and the most delightful thing is that my internet is super fast with speeds up to 15 Mbps.

Every one’s computer seems super fast in the beginning. But continuous surfing in the internet ends up with the accumulation of viruses, spyware and malware on your system. Too many temporary files and other trash stored on your folders, slowdowns the Internet and it affects the functioning of your system.

It was my dear friend Dora, who suggested the idea of speeding up my pc. Her tips were indeed very helpful for me. I could instantly change my hogging pc to a speeding pc. The next thought that came to my mind, was about the less fortunate ones like me. So I decided to share my experience and the tips that I got from my friend. Here are a few tips to increase your PC speed.

•Ensure sufficient hardware capacity and frequently update hardware drives.
•Refresh your windows often and periodically clean up your desktop. Remove the unwanted programs and keep your folders clean. This will increase your PC speed. Upgrade your pc with windows 7.
•Scan and fix the windows system errors and see to it that you regularly uninstall unnecessary programs.
•Adware, spyware, and viruses should be scanned. Install an Antivirus software and Firewall to clear your system of viruses.
•Delete temporary internet files regularly and ensure free disk space as a stuffed up disk will slow down your PC.
•It is good to maintain a basic plain wall paper rather than having a live one. Animation has to be turned down.
•Recycle bin should be emptied. So much of trash in your recycle bin can again slow down your system.
